Each gel contains 30 g of carbohydrates in a proven 2:1 ratio + 500 mg of premium fermented BCAA. This energy gel contains two carbohydrate sources — maltodextrin and fructose — which allow a high energy intake without digestive issues. 

Two Types of Carbohydrates

Energy Gel with BCAA contains two types of carbohydrates: glucose (maltodextrin) and fructose in a 2:1 ratio.

Your body can absorb roughly 60 grams of glucose (maltodextrin) and 30 grams of fructose per hour. Since glucose and fructose use different carbohydrate transporters in the body, this allows you to absorb up to 90 grams of carbohydrates per hour.

The 2:1 ratio between glucose (maltodextrin) and fructose provides high carbohydrate absorption and utilization.
