What is Pro Flex?
Pro Flex is a joint support supplement for endurance athletes. It combines hydrolyzed collagen (bovine collagen types I and III), MSM, glucosamine, chondroitin, boswellia, and vitamins to support joint health and mobility.

Who should take Pro Flex?
Pro Flex is ideal for athletes who want to keep their joints in good condition, and maintain mobility. It can also be used by athletes with injuries or arthritis. However, it is not intended to treat or cure any disease.

Can I take Pro Flex every day? 
After 3 months of use, we recommend taking a 3–4 week break from Pro Flex. This is because Pro Flex contains boswellia. Regular and prolonged use of boswellia can result in the body developing a tolerance. Pro Flex also contains hyaluronic acid and MSM. While these are considered safe to take every day, long-term continuous use could interfere with the body’s own production of hyaluronic acid and MSM.
The short break from Pro Flex helps the body reset and ensures long-term effectiveness of the supplement.

How do I take Pro Flex?
Mix 3 scoops (20 g) with 250–400 ml of water. The product is best taken between meals. For best results, use a shaker or blender with room-temperature water, as Pro Flex does not contain artificial thickeners and may clump when mixed by hand.

How long until I notice benefits from Pro Flex? 
Pro Flex is formulated to support joint health and prevent damage to connective tissues. Because of this, you may not notice any immediate benefits from Pro Flex. The benefits are in avoiding future problems and not curing current diseases or speeding up injury recovery. 
Some people do take Pro Flex for medical issues. However, we do not guarantee any benefits for serious conditions and individual response may vary. Remember, joint and tissue regeneration is a gradual process and it can take months to feel improvement from these conditions. 

Can Pro Flex replace medical treatment for joint issues?
No. Pro Flex is a food supplement and is not a cure for serious conditions such as osteoarthritis, degenerative tissue conditions, tendonitis, or injuries. Consult your doctor for serious joint problems.

Where is Pro Flex made? 
Pro Flex is made in our manufacturing facility in Slovenia or the EU. The collagen is sourced from Germany. Most of the ingredients are also sourced from the EU. Some ingredients may be sourced outside of the EU. In these cases, we follow rigorous quality controls to ensure the safety and purity of all ingredients.

Can I take Pro Flex with other supplements?
Yes, Pro Flex can be combined with general nutrition, protein, or endurance supplements. Avoid taking multiple products that contain high doses of similar joint support compounds unless recommended by a healthcare professional.

Why are there clumps in my Pro Flex?
The main ingredient of Pro Flex is hydrolyzed collagen, which absorbs water, so it is prone to clumping. To prevent clumping, make sure to store Pro Flex in a dry place and keep the container sealed.

What’s the difference between hydrolyzed collagen and non-hydrolyzed collagen? 
Hydrolyzed collagen, also known as collagen peptides, is collagen that has been fully broken down into small peptides. This makes it easier to digest and absorb, allowing the body to use it more efficiently for joints, ligaments, and connective tissue.

By contrast, non-hydrolyzed (native) collagen retains its original structure and is more difficult for the body to digest and absorb.

What type of collagen is in Pro Flex?
Pro Flex contains Type I and Type III collagen. Type I collagen makes up around 90% of the body’s collagen and provides structural support to the skin, bones, tendons, and ligaments. Type III collagen plays an important role in supporting muscles and connective tissue around joints. Because Type I and Type III collagen are the primary components of tendons and ligaments, they are well suited to the needs of athletes dealing with sport-related joint and connective tissue stress.

Which part of the animal does the collagen in Pro Flex come from?
Pro Flex uses bovine collagen that is derived from the connective tissue of the animals, such as the skin and cartilage.

How many calories are in Pro Flex?
Under EU law, collagen products do not list their nutritional values in the same way food supplements are listed. Collagen is a protein and contains 4 calories per gram. It contains no fat.

Why is maltodextrin in Pro Flex?
Maltodextrin is used as a carrier and bulking agent to help evenly distribute the active ingredients in Pro Flex. It also improves texture and solubility, making the powder easier to mix and dissolve in liquids. In addition, its mild, neutral flavor helps mask the bitter or strong taste of certain active ingredients.

Why is Pro Flex made from bovine collagen instead of marine collagen?
Bovine collagen is naturally richer in Type I and Type III collagen, which are particularly important for tendons, ligaments, and cartilage. This makes it better suited for supporting joint health and performance in athletes. Marine collagen, by contrast, is more commonly used for skin, hair, and nails rather than joint and connective tissue support. In addition, bovine collagen is more cost-effective and offers better heat stability during processing.

Are there any allergens in Pro Flex?
Pro Flex contains glucosamine from crustaceans (crabs, mussels). It is not suitable for people allergic to shellfish, crabs, or crustaceans. It may also contain traces of cereals, gluten, soy, and milk. Always check the ingredient list if you have allergies.

Is Pro Flex suitable for vegans or vegetarians?
No. Pro Flex contains animal-derived collagen and glucosamine from crustaceans, so it is not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.

Are there any side effects associated with Pro Flex? 
For some people, collagen can be hard to digest and can cause digestive side effects. If you have digestive side effects from Pro Flex, we recommend splitting the dosage into smaller servings or taking it with meals to slow absorption.
